Thaw in the fridge overnight. Once thawed, a portion can stay in the fridge for up to three days. Don’t leave thawed food at room temperature for more than 15 minutes.

Wash your hands after handling the raw food and clean all surfaces that may have come into contact with raw food.

  1. Skip 1 or 2 meals to allow the digestive system to rid itself of its previous diet.
    (skip this step for kittens)
  2. Add 1/2 cup of hot water to the medallions for a week. This will make the transition process easier.
  3. Transition completed! Stop adding water after the week-long introductory period and serve raw.
